Reminder - Notice of Privacy Practices & Security

September 23, 2013 is the date that the final rule to HITECH becomes effective. HHS has required material changes to the Notice of Privacy Practices which means that you, as a covered entity, will need to update your Notice of Privacy Practices. Be sure to log into your content management system or contact our updates team (send email to updates AT ) to post your updated Notice of Privacy on or before September 23, 2013.

For those of you who have secure services with us, we have sent out a notification to have client sign off on an updated version of our Business Associate Agreement. Be sure to complete that online agreement on or before September 23. Also whenever you have staff changes, be sure to communicate those with us. You should also remove user access to any secure online forms within your Practis Forms Admin area. Due to security, we will not do this for you. The primary account contact on record is responsible for updating this information.
