Updating Page Content

To alter the content on a page, select the page name (located in the Page column of the Pages display). Once you have selected a page you will see the Edit Entry screen.

The Edit Entry screen displays all the content that is currently being displayed on a page. The Title field is used for the page title or what will be displayed in the title bar at of the browser (you will likely never change this field). The URL Title field is used to facilitate page navigation (you should not change this field).

The main field you should be concerned with is the Body field. This field holds the main content of the page which is displayed in a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor where you can enter your changes.

The WYSIWYG editor should look similar to popular word processing applications like MS Word. Once the WYSIWYG editor is displayed you can proceed to make any content updates that you want. When you’re satisfied with what you’ve done, select Update at the top right of the screen to save your changes. Once your changes are saved you will see a message telling you that you’re Entry Has Been Updated. When you’re done, select the Pages tab from the top navigation to return to the Pages module and continue editing content.

*Please note – if you are cutting text out of a document in Microsoft Word or any other program, you will want to first copy and paste text into a text editor like Notepad and then re-cut/copy and then paste into the CMS content editor. Programs like Microsoft Word add additional code that will not format properly in the CMS content editor.
